Climb Inside The Off-Road Mercedes-Benz Pickup Truck Concept!

Mercedes-Benz X-Class Powerful Adventurer Interior Design

Earlier this week, Mercedes-Benz introduced us to its new pickup truck, the X-Class. For right now, it is still a concept, but is planned to be sold on four continents, which actually makes it less of a concept than most Mercedes-Benz concepts. We were shown the exterior designs of both trim variations, the Stylish Explorer and the Powerful Adventurer, but Mercedes-Benz failed to show us what the interior design looks like, until now.

Mercedes-Benz Powerful Adventurer

When the X-Class hits the streets, it will be available as the Stylish Explorer and the Powerful Adventurer. The Powerful Adventurer is built around performance. Whether it be on the road, in the dirt, pulling trailers, or climbing mountains, the Powerful Adventurer is designed to perform. It will come with a high-output turbodiesel V6 engine with nearly 300 horsepower and almost 500 lb-ft of torque. When combined with 4MATIC all-wheel drive, you can count on the X-Class Powerful Adventurer to pull up to 7,500 pounds and carry up to 2,500 pounds of payload.

Black And Yellow Sport Interior

On the inside, the X-Class Powerful Explorer looks like a space ship. It will be equipped with glossy black nappa leather, complete with a carbon-fiber finish for good measure. For the most part, the interior stays true to the Mercedes-Benz style. It will come with COMAND® navigation, DYNAMIC SELECT® driving modes, and a floating display screen on top of the dash. The only thing that looks out of place is what looks like a small fire extinguisher attached to the passenger side dashboard. Are there no airbags? Perhaps it is there because the X-Class is still a concept, but we’ll have to wait to find out for sure.

Release Date

Unfortunately, the X-Class won’t be coming to North America in its first year of production. When it is finally released in the fall of 2017, it will be sold in Latin America, South African, Europe, and Australia.
