Does Mercedes make any electric vehicles?

Three Upcoming EVs Made by Mercedes-Benz

In Peoria, AZ, we here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead are very excited about what the future will bring. And the “next big thing” in the auto industry is EVs, be they all-electric vehicles or super-efficient plug-in hybrids. We’ve already seen the latter from Mercedes-Benz vehicles, but what about the former?

Does Mercedes-Benz make any all-electric vehicles? Yes, they do! Three of them in fact. Just a quick note: there’s a lot of information about one of them and only a few morsels about the other two. With that out of the way, let’s take a look.

EQS

The 2022 Mercedes-EQ EQS is intended to hit the market in late 2021, though it’s currently unclear if the EQS launch will be affected by global chip shortage. We know a lot about the 2022 EQS, but not quite everything. It’s based on the S-Class sedan and features a 107.8 kWh battery that produces up to 516 horsepower and 611 lb-ft, depending on the model you get. It has other features like KEYLESS-START®, KEYLESS-GO® with seamless door handles and hands-free access, DIGITAL LIGHT intelligent LED lighting, six 100W USB-C ports, wireless smartphone integration, and the ultra-powerful, 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen.
