The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan, arguably one of the luxury brand’s most popular models, received a facelift for the 2019 model year. Featuring upgraded power and newly available driver-assistance systems, the all-new 2019 C-Class Sedan will make its World Premiere at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show. New Powertrain

The 2019 C-Class Sedan boasts an updated powertrain system that generates an increase in 14 horsepower over the previous generation. The sedan’s new powertrain consists of a 2.0L 4-turbo engine mated to a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. The advanced powertrain is designed to deliver a sporty, dynamic driving experience and generates an exhilarating 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.

The updated 2019 C-Class Sedan shares many of the latest driver-assistance systems available in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, offering a higher standard of active safety features than the previous model. Some of the model’s available driver-assistance systems include Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC®, Active Steering Assist with Active Lane Change Assist and Active Emergency Stop Assist functions, and Active Brake Assist. The new C-Class is also able to drive semi-autonomously in certain situations, as the improved camera and radar systems allow the sedan to see up to 1,640 feet ahead, including 295 feet in 3D. The sedan’s surroundings are scanned by radar up to 820 feet in the front, 130 feet to the sides, and 260 feet to the rear.
