Unexpectedly, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is emerging as the next generation of the automobile. We would have expected this from a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or even a G-Class, but not the E-Class. The E-Class is a mid-level sedan in the Mercedes-Benz army and is usually found hiding behind the S-Class sedans and coupes or the selection of sporty roadsters.

Autonomous Features

Like the E-Class before it, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will feature DISTRONIC PLUS cruise control, DYNAMIC SELECT driving modes, and COMAND navigation software. This is old news, but the new PARK PILOT and DRIVE PILOT options will change the way you look at your car forever.

Aesthetic Lighting

Mercedes-Benz takes pride in the lack of light bulbs present in its cars. Thanks to LED technology, light bulbs are no longer needed in the new E-Class, which will feature ambient lighting, new headlights, new tail lights, and Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus.

Steering Wheel

For the first time in the history of the automobile, touch-screen technology is not offered on the steering wheel in the new sedan, coupe, or wagon.

Infotainment Screen

The 2017 E-Class features almost 25 inches of screen throughout the dashboard and instrument cluster. It is the first of its kind and features different themes, customizable screens, and extra information that you didn’t know you needed.
