Each year Mercedes-Benz presents new and exciting vehicles at auto shows all around the world. It can be hard to keep with what is on display at each event, which is why we’re taking an in-depth look at what Mercedes-Benz brought to the 2017 New York Auto Show. This year they presented a variety of new stunning vehicles to US audiences.
Mercedes-Benz GLC 63 SUV World Premiere
This is the first time from Mercedes-AMG that a mid-size SUV will be available with a powerful eight-cylinder biturbo engine. It also offers a 4.0-liter V8 engine that provides 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. It is also able to go from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. Besides its high performance capabilities, this vehicle can also be recognized as being AMG by its eye-catching exterior style.
Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe/GLC 63 S Coupe – World Premiere
Mercedes-Benz also presented the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 Coupe and GLC 63 S Coupe. The GLC 63 S Coupe offers a performance equal with many dedicated sportscars and its style includes an aggressive front splitter, wider fenders and a stand-out rear bumper.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet – U.S. Premiere
The E-Class family is now complete with the reveal of the cabriolet. This vehicle is powerful, efficient and stylish. It features a 3.0-liter V6 engine, AIRCAP® wind deflector, AIRSCARF® neck- level heating technology and a number of other innovative features.
Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Wagon U.S. Premiere
This vehicle combines Mercedes-AMG driving performance with the intelligence of the E-Class. It comes with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that outputs 603 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, which is a record for its class. It will be available by fall of 2017.
Mercedes-AMG GT Concept U.S. Premiere
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Benz has developed the GT Concept. This four-door coupe follows the legacy of the SLS AMG and AMG GT. It has great exterior details and even better performance capabilities.
