Engine and Performance Specs

The 2018 Mercedes-AMG® E-Class Sedan lineup offers two engine options–a 3.0L V6 biturbo and an AMG®-enhanced 4.0L V8 biturbo. The 3.0L engine is featured on the E 43 model, which is mated to an AMG®-enhanced 9G-TRONIC 9-speed transmission. The 4.0L engine is equipped on the E 63 S model, which is mated to an AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9-speed transmission. The E 43 features AMG® Performance 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive, and the E 63 S features AMG® Performance 4MATIC+® all-wheel-drive for improved control and confidence in tough road conditions.
