The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ Sedan is the base trim level. That means, of the two, it has the least expensive MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price). Actually, it has the MSRP that you’ll most often see associated with the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS, a starting price of $102,310.  

Other than being the least expensive trim level, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ Sedan does have a few other things to boast about. It has an acceleration time of 5.9 seconds, a horsepower rating of 329, and a torque rating of 419 pound-feet. These specifications are impressive, although they aren’t as high as the other trim level. They’ll still provide you with plenty of fun behind the wheel. Furthermore, the base model has the same exterior color options as the upgraded model. 

2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC Sedan trim level description

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC Sedan is the higher trim level of the two options. It has a starting price of $119,110. This model is more expensive, but it has upgraded specifications to make up for that difference. If you’re serious about driving, like to speed up quickly when you merge onto the highway and like to feel like your vehicle is completely in tune with your demands, then we’d recommend this trim level. It never hurts to take a test drive, at the very least. 

The specifications of this trim level are an acceleration time of just 4.1 seconds, a horsepower rating of 516, and a torque rating of 631 pound-feet. It is a pretty substantial upgrade, although, for many people, the lower trim level will have more than enough pep in its step.
