Officially, the Maybach GLS is actually the 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC®*, which means it is a trim higher than the 2020 GLS 580 4MATIC®*. So, it isn’t surprising to see the Maybach GLS has more horsepower and torque than the 2020 GLS 580 4MATIC®*. Because of this power, you’ll have the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.8 seconds in the Maybach GLS. Of course, the 2020 GLS doesn’t skimp in power either, so you’ll still see a speedy acceleration speed of 5.2 seconds.

As the GLS is not only a more recent year but also a higher trim, we expected more technology features in the 2021 Maybach GLS. So, it isn’t too surprising to find out that we’ll have more standard features like the ENERGIZING COMFORT® and Executive Rear Seat Package on the Maybach GLS. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t get these features on last year’s model. Many of the features the Maybach GLS offers standard you can still get as optional features in the 2020 GLS.
