When it comes to the luxury SUV segment, few automakers can compare to Mercedes-Benz. From the iconic G-Wagon to the subcompact GLA-Class, Mercedes-Benz has an award-winning SUV that fits everyone’s needs. Today, we’ll be looking at the 2021 GLB-Class SUV.
The 2021 Mercedes-Ben GLB comes in two different trims: GLB 250 and AMG GLB 35. Keep reading to see what to expect from the two trims.
The 2021 GLB 250 comes standard with a 221-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine and FWD, though AWD is available. It also has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, HD Radio, five USB ports, a 7-inch touchscreen, and a 7-inch digital gauge display. Other standard features include a 120V outlet, MB Tex synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power liftgate, heated side mirrors, and LED headlights. Safety-wise, it comes with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, driver drowsiness monitoring, and a rearview camera.
The GLB 250 has a number of available packages, too.
Other individual options include things like genuine leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a premium Burmester stereo, wireless device charging, a panoramic roof, an adaptive suspension, and more.
The AMG GLB 35 focuses on improving performance. It features an AMG-tuned turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 302 horsepower, standard AWD, and a sport-tuned suspension. This powertrain is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in only 5.1 seconds. Feature-wise, it has all the standard features from the GLB 250, as well as a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, and bolstered sport seats.
