Even if you know you’re getting a luxurious Mercedes-Benz vehicle, you still need to decide which model to get. So, we are going to help you decide whether or not you’re more interested in a 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA, or a 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Let’s get started!
2020 CLA |
Vs | 2020 C-Class Coupe |
4 | Trims | 5 |
382 hp & 358 lb.-ft. | Max Horsepower & Torque | 503 hp & 516 lb.-ft. |
4 seconds | Top 0-60 mph acceleration | 3.7 seconds |
150 mph | Top speed | 180 mph |
To begin, the CLA only has one body style available: Coupe. The C-Class, on the other hand, has three: Coupe, Sedan, and Cabriolet. For the sake of this comparison, we are going to take the 2020 C-Class Coupe.
If you are ready to find your future model, both the 2020 CLA and the 2020 C-Class Coupe are solid choices. Both have the signature roofline slope of a coupe that gives you a classic yet sporty feel and increased aerodynamics. However, you might want to pick one over the other in terms of power and performance. Which is to say, both vehicles bring you an impressive amount of power. The CLA has a max horsepower of 382 and 358 lb.-ft. of torque. While this does indeed have plenty of power, you can have even more power with the C-Class Coupe. Find 503 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.
Even with the power difference, you’ll still have a narrow difference between the top 0 to 60 mile per hour acceleration speed. You can accelerate from 0-60 mph in the C-Class Coupe in only 3.7 seconds, with the CLA close on its tail at 4 seconds. So, if you aren’t looking to squeeze every bit of power you can out of your vehicle, then you might want to go with the CLA. However, if you are looking for a hugely powerful model then the C-Class Coupe is the model for you!
