Mercedes-Benz and BMW are both leaders in the luxury SUV market. In fact, together, they make up a majority of the available luxury SUVs on Planet Earth and are often at the top of driver's wish lists. For 2017, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 and the BMW X3 sDrive28i offer even more comfort and convenience from the year before and although they both produce happy customers, you can only pick one of them. Which will it be? 

On one had, you have the newly designed, completely reimagined Mercedes-Benz GLC. Replacing the GLK, the GLC is larger, more powerful, and more intelligent than its predecessor, giving the BMW X3 a run for its money. On the outside, the two SUVs are the same length, give or take a tenth of an inch.  This means they have similar handling tendencies, except for the fact that the BMW is a little bit taller. This make for more head room, but it also heightens the center of gravity for the BMW, sacrificing handling abilities.
