Is it safe to shop for a car during the Coronavirus outbreak in Peoria, AZ?

With the Coronavirus outbreak only growing, people are beginning to stay away from public places – and with good reason. However, if your car breaks down and needs servicing or if you’re planning on getting a new car altogether, you may be asking yourself if it’s still safe to shop for a car during the Coronavirus outbreak in Peoria, AZ. We can’t answer this for you, but we can give you more information as to the preventative measures your Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead is taking.

Can I still take my car to the shop during COVID-19?

Whether you need to take your car to the shop or are looking for a new one, we want you to feel as comfortable as you can during the COVID-19 outbreak in Arizona. We are taking as much reasonable precaution as we can here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead, so you’ll find yourself in a clean environment when you come to our dealership.

We have a disinfectant that specifically targets COVID-19, and we use it to wipe down the surfaces in our dealership regularly. There are various hand sanitizer stations set up for customers and employees alike, and you’ll find all our Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead team members wearing gloves to minimize contact. Alongside this, instead of the traditional handshake, our employees will give you a friendly smile, nod or wave instead. Your health is important to us, and we’ll do what’s best to help reduce the risk when you shop at our dealership. Our service team will also wipe down any part of your car they’ve come in contact with when they serviced your vehicle, so you don’t need to worry about that, either.

Can I still test-drive a car?

You are still able to test drive whatever vehicle has caught your interest. Like the surfaces in our dealership, all of vehicles at our dealership, showroom and loaner cars alike, have been wiped down regularly with disinfectant. While this is actually a normal practice for us, we will continue to do so with the disinfectant targeting this virus. So, the car you want to take for a test drive has not only been wiped down before you drive it, but it will be wiped down after you’re done taking it out as well.

If you have any further questions, we encourage you to contact a Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead team member via email, phone, or chat. They will be happy to tell you more.
