According to a recent press release from Mercedes-Benz, the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX will be able to go more than 1,000 km, or 620 miles, on a single charge. This is a truly impressive driving range, not just for an electric vehicle but for any vehicle to have. It means that you can go out and back on a day trip without having to stop to recharge.
Fuel efficiency has to be measured differently in electric vehicles because they don’t actually use gallons of fuel for power. The Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX uses less than 10 kWh of power per 100 km that it drivers. Put another way, the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX gets about 6 miles of distance per kWh of power. For you, that translates into the long-range that we mentioned, and it means that your vehicle can travel further on less power, which is always a good thing.
The Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX maintains 95% efficiency. By this, we mean that the power output by the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX model’s battery is still 95% there by the time it reaches the wheels of the vehicle. That’s a loss of just 5% off its power, meaning that very little is lost in the process of driving.
