How do rain-sensing wipers work?

The rear-window wiper also automatically activates if the front wipers are switched on when the driver shifts in reverse. Another recently developed feature is adaptive highbeam assist. This is an optional feature on many Mercedes-Benz models. It uses input from a camera to automatically vary the range of your headlamps, based on the distance to oncoming vehicles and to those ahead of you. It’s engineered to maximize road illumination without creating glare for other drivers. This feature makes sure that you can always see and be seen by other vehicles on the road, no matter what time of day it is or weather conditions you are dealing with.
