The launch of the original Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupe in 2004 defined a completely new segment in the automotive industry. Since then, the iconic coupe has continued to set the standard for other vehicles in its segment. A true design icon, and one of the first Mercedes-Benz vehicles to offer 48-volt technology, the CLS Coupe is certainly one of the luxury brand’s flagship models. For the 2019 model year, the CLS Coupe will debut as an all-new model sporting a fresh design, an improved powertrain, and newly available technology. Highlights and Updates for 2019

As an all-new model, the 2019 CLS Coupe will debut with several changes and updates from the previous model year. For the first time ever, the CLS Coupe offers seating for three rear passengers. The cabin also features a new-generation steering wheel with Touch Control Buttons and integrated cruise control, as well as new upholstery designs and color options and new trim level options with matching center console designs. Additional highlights and updates for the 2019 model year include the following:
  • New 3.0L inline-6 turbo engine with EQ Boost (362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque)
  • New integrated starter-generator paired to a 48V battery to deliver an extra 21 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque at certain RPM ranges
  • Standard AMG® body-styling and 19″ Mercedes-Benz wheels
  • The newest generation of driver-assistance technology
  • New standard features including the COMAND® NTG 5.5 head unit with a 12.3″ center display, KEYLESS START, smartphone integration, and 64-color ambient lighting
