This year the Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl commercial is called “Easy Rider”. It features Peter Fonda, most-known for his role in the film of the same name. He is shown in the ad driving the new high-performance Mercedes-Benz AMG GT C Roadster. The video is directed by the Academy-Award-winning Coen Brothers, Joel and Ethan.

The commercial (below) features a group of bikers who worship Peter Fonda, but never imagined they would get to meet him, but they do in an unexpected way that they will never forget. The commercial is perfectly paired with the song “Born to be Wild” by Steppenwolf. The song helps express the feeling of driving on the open road in the AMG Roadster.
