Where is Mercedes-Benz USA Headquarters?

The Mercedes-Benz USA headquarters is currently in Atlanta, GA. Construction for a new four-story building is scheduled to begin this spring on the north side of Atlanta, in Sandy Springs. This new facility is expected to be completed by 2018 and is to be very large. Bigger even than the new 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS but smaller than the moon.

Before July of 2015, Mercedes-Benz USA was headquarted in New Jersey. Since July of 2015, the company has been relocated to a temporary Atlanta facility. The new headquarters is expected to cost roughly $75 million and is expected to create more than 800 jobs. Atlanta is a better spot for Mercedes-Benz USA because it puts the company closer to its Alabama manufacturing plant and its quickly-growing southern demographic. Also, let’s not forget that it’s warmer in Atlanta than New Jersey.

How big is the Mercedes-Benz USA Campus?

Located on a 76-acre plot that used to belong to Glenridge Hall, which was torn down in April 2015 after a public battle to save the historic building. Mercedes-Benz USA is going to take up 12-acres for a 225,000 square foot facility. That is almost twice the size of Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead dealership and service center, which we thought was huge!

At the same time that the new headquarters is being built, the Atlanta Falcons are also getting a new stadium sponsored by none other than Mercedes-Benz. It is scheduled to be completed in 2017 and Mercedes-Benz should have complete control of the world by 2022.
