What’s new with the 2020 Mercedes-Benz SUVs?

You’ll find that there are some 2020 Mercedes-Benz vehicles already here in at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead. But, what’s new with these SUVs? That’s what we are here to find out! Check out some of the main highlights and upgrades you can expect to find in your future 2020 luxury SUV.

2020 Mercedes-Benz SUV upgrades

• GLA: no changes
• All-new GLB SUV: 3^rd-row optional seating, off-road capability
• GLE & GLS: new 4.0-Liter V8 biturbo engine with EQ Boost
• GLC: new 2.0-Liter turbo engine
• AMG® GLC: models have new AMG® DYNAMICS® drive programs

As you can see, there are a fair number of important new upgrades for most of the Mercedes-Benz models. This includes the all-new GLB SUV, which we haven’t seen in the U.S. before. This model has optional 3^rd-row seating and impressive off-road capabilities.

The GLE and GLS both have a new 4.0-Liter V8 biturbo engine with EQ Boost in order to amp up the power in these two models. The GLC joins them with a new engine, though for this model it’s a 2.0L turbo engine.

The AMG® GLC breaks away from the new engine trend and instead showcases new AMG® DYNAMICS® drive programs. Of course, you can expect to see the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX®) system in all of these models, either as standard or as an option. This feature will get you natural-language voice control, keyword activation, and a touchscreen display.
