The new 2022 Mercedes-Benz models are arriving slowly but surely. We here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead in Peoria, AZ, are super excited for them. So far, we’ve seen the 2022 C-Class, the 2022 EQS, the 2022 AMG GLC 63 S, and a few more. Today, we’ll be looking at the 2022 CLS Coupe.

Performance Specs

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupe will sport a turbocharged 3.0L I6 engine with the EQS Boost mild hybrid system. This powertrain produces 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque; with EQS Boost activated, it clocks 383 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain is estimated to go from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. It also has 4MATIC all-wheel drive, a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission, and DYNAMIC SELECT drive mode selection.

Safety Features

The 2022 CLS Coupe will have many safety features, including Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, PRE-SAFE, PRE-SAFE Sound, the LED Intelligent Light System with Adaptive Highbeam Assist, and LED taillights. The available Driver Assistance package adds Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Steering Assist, Active Parking Assist with PARTRONIC, Active Stop-and-Go Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and other features yet to be announced.

Infotainment Features

The 2022 CLS Coupe will have the MBUX infotainment and navigation system. A 12.3-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are standard. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard. A multi-function steering wheel with capacitive touch-control buttons is standard, as is a 64-color ambient interior lighting system.
