What’s new in the 2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class?

It seems like the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class just arrived, but now it’s time to learn more about the 2020 model! So, what’s new in the newest addition to this luxury brand’s sedan lineup?

Upgrades in the 2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class

One of the biggest changes you’re bound to note is the addition of an AMG® trim for the 2020 A-Class. The AMG® A 35 Sedan brings about a new era for the A-Class that includes more power, better performance, and an even better-looking exterior.

The other major change in the A-Class is the MBUX Interior Assist, which can be added onto the two non-AMG® trims either on its own, or with the Multimedia Package.

Standard technology features

One of the perks that draw shoppers to the A-Class is the myriad of technology features. While this model is definitely smaller than the C-Class, it makes up for its size by being packed with technology features. Some features that stand out are:

  • Apple CarPlay®
  • Android Auto®
  • DYNAMIC SELECT®
  • KEYLESS START®
  • Touchscreen display

You’ll have plenty of connectivity through Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, and the touchscreen display makes navigating this connectivity even easier. You’ll also have the advantage of voice control and, if you so choose, the Interior Assist, which again is an optional feature. Speaking of, let’s take a look at what other optional features you can find in your 2020 A-Class.

Optional Technology Features

While the A-Class already has a plethora of convenient technologies, there are still plenty more you can add, including:

  • Interior Assist
  • Burmester® Premium Sound System
  • KEYLESS GO®
  • Parking Assistance Package
  • Driver Assistance Package
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
