2022 Mercedes-AMG SL Highlights

These are some of the highlights of the 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL that makes it a special vehicle:

  • The AMG V8 engine will be available from the get-go. Other engine versions will be introduced in the near future, including a powerful E PERFORMANCE hybrid.
  • The electro-hydraulic soft top opens and closes automatically in around 15 seconds, and both functions are possible up to 37 mph.
  • The multimedia touchscreen can be electrically adjusted in inclination from 12 to 32 degrees. Also, the “Hey Mercedes,” intelligent voice assistant understands up to 28 languages.
  • New dimensional concept with 2+2 seats
  • Created on an all-new roadster architecture with a composite aluminum structure. Absolutely no aspect or part of the body shell has been adopted from the predecessor or any other model series.
  • For the first time in over 70 years, the SL is now available with all-wheel drive
  • The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL active anti-roll stabilization works without anti-roll bars
  • Rear-axle steering brings both agility and stability to the SL’s driving character and is also a first for the SL series.
  • The new SL will be available in twelve paint finishes, including five metallic paint finishes, and six MANUFAKTUR colors as well as three different soft top colors.
  • Digitalization – eight screen designs can be displayed in the head unit.
