Today we’re going to take a deeper dive into this topic by answering the question, “What kind of cars do they drive on The Handmaid’s Tale?”.

What Mercedes-Benz models were used on The Handmaid’s Tale?

The Handmaid’s Tale shows a life where many freedoms and privileges have been taken away from citizens. For some in this series this means not being able to own or even drive a vehicle. Most citizens are transported via government official vehicles. This has left viewers wondering what kind of vehicles exist in the world of Gilead. Most of the vehicles depicted are actually Mercedes-Benz models.

One of the main vehicles used in The Handmaid’s Tale is the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The series also uses Mercedes-Benz vans, SUVs and sedans. These vehicles are a good fit for the series because they are tough looking and so innovative that they seem futuristic. Mercedes-Benz has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to technology features and performance capabilities. These vehicles work well with the environment and tone of the show.
