What different trim levels are available for the 2022 GLA?

In all, there are four different trim levels available for the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA. The lineup begins with the 2022 GLA 250 and right above that is the 2022 GLA 4MATIC®. The latter of those two trim levels comes standard with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive.

Above those two trim levels are two AMG® trim levels. You have the Mercedes-AMG® GLA 35 and the Mercedes-AMG® GLA 45. Both of these trim levels include standard 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. They also include additional performance and features.

Performance difference between 2022 GLA models

The GLA 250 models come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that uses a turbocharger to boost performance to 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The 2022 Mercedes-AMG® GLA 35 uses an enhanced version of that engine with 302 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Above that, the top Mercedes-AMG® GLA 45 features a handcrafted version of that engine with 382 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

What upgrades do the AMG® versions of the 2022 GLA get?

Outside of obvious performance upgrades and changes with the styling and badging, the Mercedes-AMG® versions of the GLA also receive additional features. Those features include 19-inch AMG® wheels, a sport suspension, 64-color ambient lighting, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with a 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia display.
