Mercedes-Benz Celebrates International Girl Child Day By Launching ‘I am Mercedes’ Anthem

In tribute to all the daughters worldwide, Mercedes-Benz released an anthem titled ‘I am Mercedes’ on International Girl Child day, which fell on October 11. They fondly remember how the name Mercedes evolved. Emil Jellinek, who commissioned the first ever modern automobile in 1900, named the vehicle after his daughter, Mercedes Jellinek. To celebrate the namesake in 2022, Mercedes-Benz asked ten young women to share their dreams and hopes for the future and collaborated with them on a video anthem named ‘I am Mercedes.’ We have the manufacturer’s video anthem at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead in Peoria, AZ.
