Package Options for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS is very luxurious and offers opportunities to add more features in the form of packages. Depending on which trim you pick for the GLS, there are three packages to upgrade your next luxury SUV. Here are each of the package options for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS!

2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 Optional Packages

Two packages are available with the standard 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS trim. These packages are the Appearance Package and the Lighting Package. The Appearance Package offers 20-inch 10-spoke wheels and illuminated running boards. The wheels are designed to give this luxury SUV a bolder look. The illuminated running boards provide light onto the boards, so you know where to step. In addition, these running boards have rubber studs, so you won’t slip as you are stepping in or out of the vehicle.

The Lighting Package adds Active LED headlamps and Adaptive Highbeam Assist. These LED lights are engineered to offer light similar to natural daylight. This light gives clear illumination while preventing glare. The Adaptive Highbeam Assist feature is very handy for surrounding drivers. A camera will detect vehicles ahead of you as well as the distance they are away from you. This system then dims the brightness of your high beams automatically as vehicles approach.

Night Package in 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS

This package is available in the GLS 550 and AMG® GLS 63 models. This package adds 21-inch AMG® twin 5-spoke wheels with black accents. These wheels give the GLS a stealthier and striking appearance. Along with these wheels, Gloss Black exterior accents are added. The front-apron underguard insert, grille crossbar trim, side mirrors, side window surrounds and roof rails, and the rear valance all get coated with Gloss Black to compliment the darker look.
