Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Guard Safety Features

It is a good thing we can buy protection because money and enemies are directly proportional variables. The more money you have, the more people there are in line to take it. The safest passenger vehicle in the world right now is the Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Guard. It is the first vehicle to meet the requirements for the VR10 protection rating set forth by Directive BRV 2009, pertaining to bullet resistant vehicles.

Bulletproof

Not many cars come from the factory with bullet-proof windows and doors, but this S 600 does. It is strong enough to withstand the force of a hardened steel core bullets fired from an assault rifle. This makes the windows much thicker, but you don’t even notice unless the windows are rolled down. Even then, it doesn’t look anything less than cool.

Bomb Protection

To protect from explosives, the S 600 Guard comes complete with armor all around the car. The top, sides, and bottom all feature thick, explosive protection. This obviously makes the car much heavier, but the biturbo V12 under the hood has no problem getting you and your car to your destination safely. Gas mileage, however, is a different story.

Mercedes-Benz Special Protection Vehicles

The S-Class isn’t the only model you can purchase as a tank. In fact, Mercedes-Benz has been customizing cars to protect occupants for more than 85 years. Starting in 1928, Mercedes-Benz has been the number one name in the vehicle protection and has protected many influential people over the years. Right now, the Guard package can be applied to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, as well as the Mercedes-Benz GLE. If you would like to learn more about how to obtain one of these specialty vehicles, contact us today at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale. We should warn you though, the price is intimidating.
