Does The Illuminated Star Fit All Models?

Starting in 2014, all Mercedes-Benz models can be fitted with an illuminated star with one exception. It cannot be installed on any car equipped with DISTRONIC® or DISTRONIC PLUS® driver assistance. The reason for this is that the space in the grille is needed for cameras and radars, and the light can mess with the system. This means any Mercedes-Benz with the Luxury Package or Premium Package would not be eligible for a star.
