Power and performance of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

If you’re searching for a powerful model that can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a reasonable amount of time despite the size of this SUV, then you’ve come to the right model. There are two trims for you to choose from: the 2021 Mercedes-Benz G 550 and the 2021 Mercedes-AMG G 63. Despite there being only two trims you’ll still have plenty of power.

The G 550 generates 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque with its 4.0-L V8 biturbo engine. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 130 mph. Move up to the AMG model and you’ll have a Handcrafted 4.0L V8 engine that generates 577 hp and 627 lb.-ft. of torque. This trim can accelerate from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 137 mph, or if you choose the Driver’s Package this top speed will increase to 149 mph.
