Keep Your Engine Cool | Cooling systems protect engines from overheating, but they need to be flushed periodically. Check your owner’s manual to see how often a flush is recommended. Between flushes, make sure the vehicle’s coolant is filled to the proper level.
Keep Your Tires Inflated | Driving on under-inflated tires is never a good idea, but especially in extreme temperatures. Under-inflated tires can easily overheat while driving, and chances are further increased when the roads are hot, which increases the likelihood of a blowout. Check your car’s tire pressures at least once a month.
Have your AC Checked | Having working AC is extremely important in the summer months, as you could become stranded without any way to keep cool until help arrives. Have your AC checked and serviced at least once a year.
