How safe is the Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Before you purchase a new luxury vehicle, it’s important to make sure that it doesn’t just have impressive performance capabilities, but that it also has all the safety features you could need. It can be difficult to tell what safety features a vehicle has just by looking at it. It’s better to take a more in-depth approach. Today we’re going to help by taking a look at all the advanced safety features that come available on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. This will help you determine just how safe this luxury sedan is.

2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Safety Features

The 2017 C-Class offers a long list of available safety features to help keep you safe and put your mind at ease. One of these features is Collision Prevention Assist Plus. This feature uses radar technology to alert you when you’re approaching a vehicle or some stationary objects at a speed and distance that suggests a collision is likely. This system also uses Adaptive Brake Assist, which automatically provides the ideal level of braking when the driver starts to brake. The system can also initiate autonomous braking from speeds up to 65 mph.

Another helpful available safety feature is ATTENTION ASSIST®. This feature is constantly monitoring up to 70 parameters of driving behavior. It alerts drivers with both visual and audible warnings if it detects signs of drowsiness. It can also present useful information to drivers along their journey using the dashboard display. This feature will help make sure that you are attentive and ready for whatever comes your way.
