How powerful is the 2021 Mercedes-Benz CLS?

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz CLS will give you plenty power and performance in this upcoming model. But, just how powerful will this model be? You’ll have two different options for the horsepower and torque, and three options for how quickly it can accelerate. Check it out!

Engine specifications of the 2021 CLS

The engine of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz CLS 450 and 450 4MATIC®* generates 362 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. Despite sharing this power, the 4MATIC®* trim will give you a quicker acceleration time. Not to say the 5.1-second acceleration from 0 – 60 miles per hour is anything to scoff at in the base trim, but the 4MATIC trim will decrease that to 4.8 seconds. Likewise, the AMG® 53 trim will give you 429 horsepower and 384 lb.-ft. of torque. This enables the AMG® trim to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.4 seconds.

Now that we know a bit more about the power and performance of this model, let’s check out some of the upgrades and technologies you can find.

2021 Mercedes-Benz CLS upgrades & technologies

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz CLS shares some pretty neat technologies, the first being, of course, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience infotainment system. This will give you natural-language voice control, hand gesture control with the Interior Assistance feature, and a touchscreen display.

Other features of this model includes:

  • Apple CarPlay
  • Android Auto
  • Active Brake Assist
  • Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC®
  • Active Stop-and-Go Assist
