Technically, you can use a standard 110V household outlet. But let’s be real—that’s like trying to fill a swimming pool with a garden hose. It works, but slowly. 

For faster charging, a 240V outlet and the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox are the way to go. It’s quicker, more efficient, and super easy to set up. We recommend using Qmerit for a licensed installation. Once that wallbox is in, plug in at night and wake up to a fully charged vehicle by morning.

2. Know Your Charging Levels 

Let’s break it down: 

Level 1: That’s the regular wall outlet. It is best for emergencies or overnight topping off. 
Level 2: This is the most practical option for daily charging. A 240V wallbox gives you much faster results—about 3 to 7 times faster than Level 1. 
Level 3/DC Fast Charging: These are found on highways and in public spaces. They are super-fast but not designed for home use due to their power needs. They are great for road trips.
