Using radar, it identifies vehicles or stationary objects and can alert the driver when a collision risk increases. If the situation worsens, the system can assist with braking to reduce impact or help avoid an accident altogether. It even reacts to crossing pedestrians in typical city driving conditions.  

ATTENTION ASSIST® supports its driver on long journeys by monitoring more than 70 different indicators of fatigue. If the system detects early signs of drowsiness, it provides visual and audible warnings to help the driver regain focus. By identifying fatigue at the beginning of a trip and offering guidance throughout, the system aims to promote safer driving habits.

PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist makes navigating tight spaces far less stressful. As you pass potential parking spots, the system identifies suitable spaces for parallel or perpendicular parking. Once selected, the SUV can shift, steer, and brake automatically. When you’re ready to leave, it can guide the vehicle out. Sensors in both bumpers detect obstacles, and audible chimes help drivers avoid scrapes in crowded parking lots.  

Blind Spot Assist provides support when changing lanes by monitoring the traffic around you. When a vehicle enters the SUV’s blind zone, a red icon appears in the corresponding side mirror. If the turn signal is used, the system sounds an alert. After parking, Exit Warning Assist helps notify occupants of vehicles or cyclists approaching from behind before a door is opened.
