The 2019 C-Class Sedan’s sport interior offers a new interpretation of modern luxury with classy materials and flowing lines. The center console is distinguished by elegant trim, including newly available Natural Grain Walnut Wood or Natural Grain Grey Oak Wood, to create a hand-crafted character with a modern feel. Magma Grey/Black upholstery is also newly available as an interior color option, as well as Saddle Brown and Silk Beige/Black for the AMG-Line package. KEYLESS START comes standard on the 2019 C-Class Sedan and the start/stop button comes in a new turbine-look design. The vehicle key also features a new design.
The facelifted C-Class Sedan also received a new multifunction leather steering wheel with Touch Control Buttons that respond to swiping motions like a smartphone. The buttons enable the driver to have control of the instrument cluster and infotainment system without having to take their hands off the steering wheel. DISTRONIC and cruise control can now also be directly controlled from the steering wheel.
The new C-Class Sedan adopts the display concept of the current S-Class Sedan. The optional fully digital instrument display has a 12.3″ diagonal and offers a resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels. The screen design offers three different display styles–Classic, Sport, and Progressive. The driver can also now view the navigation display data or the ECO display in the instrument cluster alongside certain menu items. The multimedia screen above the center console is also available in two sizes–the 7″ display screen or the newly available 10.25″ COMAND® display screen.
The 2019 C-Class Sedan will go on sale in the U.S. by late 2018.
