Mercedes-Benz just announced the name of its new pickup truck, and X-Class is the winner. The X-Class looks modern, stylish, and more than capable of competing with competition around the world, but there is a problem. The X-Class will not be available in North America when it is debuted next year.

For its first year of production, and probably for a few years after that, the X-Class is only going to be available on four continents. Unfortunately, North America is not one of them. Next year, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class will be released in South African, Australia, Latin America, and Africa.
If you have your heart set on purchasing one of the first 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup trucks, your only chance will be to go to Mexico. If you can wait a few years, however, Mercedes-Benz will have a chance to work out any kinks there may be in the new truck before it comes to America.
When the X-Class is released, it will be available in two distinct trims.
The first trim available is will be the Stylish Explorer. It is an urban vehicle that features low-profile wheels, a very smooth finish, and interior comfort like no other pickup on the planet. Here, we recognize the essence of the G-Class.
The other available option will be the Powerful Adventurer. It is a little more rugged than the Stylish Explorer, providing drivers with huge tires, strong suspension, and other little things such as a winch on the front of the grille, mirroring the G-Class 4×4².
