It has a rich history with Mercedes-Benz that stretches back over 35 years when it began as an aggressive off-road vehicle. Since then, it has grown and evolved with the brand to make it a very unique automobile. It is an off-road vehicle that is street legal. 2016 G-Class AMG G65

Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new variation of the G-Class for 2016. It is an AMG model that will host a V12 bi-turbo engine that delivers an astounding 621 horsepower! Not only that, it is only the 4th Mercedes-Benz to have an MSRP north of $200,000. Price aside, this thing is awesome. If you thought the horsepower number was impressive, then brace yourself because the V12 will produce 738 pounds of torque.

2016 G-Class Pricing

Including the new AMG model, the G-Class will be available in 3 trims. The G5550 will have a suggested retail price of $119,900. The next step up is the G63 AMG, which will cost somewhere around $139,900. Last is the new G65 AMG, which will have a hefty price tag of $217,900.

All three models are scheduled to be released from their cages in November. With its obscene power outputs and classic upright design, there is no doubt that it will be more popular than it has ever been.
