While we weren’t graced with a 2020 version of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, we are happy to introduce the 2021 GLE Coupe. This model has had a full year to transform, and so we are beyond excited to see how this model has evolved from the 2019 version. So, without further ado, here’s a comparison of the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe vs the 2019 GLE Coupe.
As you can see, the 2021 GLE Coupe got a significant power increase for both trims. You’ll start off with 429 horsepower and 384 lb.-ft. of torque, and end with a powerful 603 hp and 627 lb.-ft. of torque. This is drastically higher than the 577 horsepower and 561 lb.-ft. of torque on the 2019 GLE Coupe. Because of this power increase, it isn’t surprising to have your acceleration shave some time off. So, you’ll see a solid 5.2-second acceleration to begin on the GLE Coupe, and a speedy 3.7-second acceleration time on the top trim.
