2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe vs 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe
Since SUV vehicles have only increased in popularity, it shouldn’t come as much surprise to find that there are some variations of SUVs that you can get, such as the sleek coupe version of the popular 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLC SUVs. But what one is the right fit for you? That’s what we are going to help you find out.
While both vehicles are excellent for many drivers, you may find yourself leaning one way or the other when it comes to speed, efficiency, space, price, and technology features. For this comparison, we are going to be taking the specs and features of the AMG® 43 trims of both vehicles. This way, we can keep things fair.

As you can see, there are some benefits and drawbacks of driving either vehicle. First off, if you are looking for a more affordable luxury vehicle, then you may want to go with the GLC Coupe. This vehicle is over $10,000 lower than the GLE Coupe. However, if you are not as concerned about price, then other aspects of both vehicles can sway you one way or another. While the GLE Coupe does have a bit more horsepower than the GLC, the torque for both is the same. This influences the acceleration, as the GLC can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour faster than the larger GLE Coupe can.
However, the GLE Coupe and the GLC Coupe are pretty closely tied when it comes to fuel efficiency. While the GLE does in fact get less miles per gallon than the GLC, it does have a 24-gallon fuel tank, whereas the GLC Coupe has a 21-gallon tank. So, you really won’t see many differences there. However, if you are looking for space, then you may want to go with the GLE, which has a far larger trunk capacity than the GLC coupe does.
Technology-wise, they are again pretty closely tied, and both of them have the PRESAFE®**** safety system. Of course, if you are interested in learning more about either vehicle, don’t hesitate to contact us here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead! We would love to tell you more!
