Mercedes-Bens USA has announced the US MSRP and the new Mercedes-AMG SL packaging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For starters, the all-new 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL<\/a> will be available in two models \u2013 AMG SL 55 and AMG SL 63. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 55 will start from $137,400, while the AMG SL 63 starts from $178,100. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the Mercedes-AMG SL models will be offered in two specially curated trims for the US market, namely, Touring and Performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2022 Mercedes-AMG SL Performance Highlights <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In keeping with its triumphant racing pedigree, the new Mercedes-AMG SL packs a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 engine, assembled entirely by hand at the company\u2019s Affalterbach factory in Germany. The engine is manufactured according to the \u201cOne Man, One Engine\u201d principle which means each individual engine is entirely hand-built by its assigned master engineer.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The V8 powertrain under the hood of the AMG SL 55 produces 469 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. Of torque, enough to sprint from standstill to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 183 mph. On the other hand, the AMG SL 63 delivers 577 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft. of torque with a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
