Mercedes-Benz has dropped a few key specs of the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS before it hits dealerships, and front the looks of it; it’s nothing short of EV excellence! The EQS comes with an impressive 478-mile electric drive range, and it’s also the world’s most aerodynamic-efficient car, which will, in return, help it achieve incredible speeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 EQS will come in two trims \u2013 450+ and 580 4MATIC. The 2022 Mercedes Benz EQS 450+ can accelerate from 0-60 mph in a mere 5.5 seconds, while the 4MATIC all-wheel drive-equipped EQS 580 4MATIC can do the same in as little as 4.1 seconds. Both the models offer an estimated top speed of 130 mph, which has been limited for safety reasons. Nonetheless, that’s plenty fast for a full-size all-electric luxury sedan. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS can even charge quickly and gain up to 186 miles of range with just 15 minutes of charging using its 200kW DC fast charger.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS trims and performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ is powered by a 107.8 kWh battery-powered rear-wheel electric motor that produces 329 horsepower and 406 lb.-ft. of torque. On the other hand, the EQS 580 4MATIC features another electric motor that also turns the front wheels while delivering an astounding 516 hp and 611 lb.-ft. of torque to all four wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
