Is it illegal to hang something from a rearview mirror? The lowdown:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Arizona\u2014along with some other states like California and Pennsylvania\u2014completely prohibits anything hanging from your vehicle\u2019s review mirror, regardless of what it is, under state law. That includes the usual stuff you\u2019d think of, like air fresheners or general d\u00e9cor, but also parking passes or handicap passes. For important items like parking or handicap passes, we recommend removing them while driving and putting them on once you park. Luckily, if you miss your air freshener, many Mercedes-Benz models now offer a built-in option.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Cell Phone Use While Driving<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As of January 1, 2021, it is illegal to make or answer a call, read or send a text, or otherwise hold or support a handheld device with your body while driving. Essentially, any operation of a device while driving is illegal. There are three exceptions to this law: hands-free device operation, GPS navigation, and emergency 911 calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
