Step-by-step instructions on how to change the air filter in your Mercedes-Benz C-Class<\/h3>\n

  1. \"2019Pop the hood of your car.<\/li>\n
  2. There are 2 engine covers on many of the older models. Remove the plastic covering of the front cover. Newer models (like the photo to the right) may look different.<\/li>\n
  3. Disconnect the air hoses on either side of the air box.\n

    1. For non-Mercedes-Benz models; Find the air filter box. It is usually a black, rectangular or square box located near the engine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Open the clamp located at the top of the airbox (nearest to the front window).<\/li>\n
    3. Remove air box.<\/li>\n
    4. Remove air filter cover. You\u2019ll need to unscrew the cover in your Mercedes-Benz C-Class.<\/li>\n
    5. Remove old air filter.<\/li>\n
    6. If you see dirt or debris in the air filter box you can use a vacuum to clean it.<\/li>\n
    7. Put the new filter inside.<\/li>\n
    8. Refasten the air filter cover.<\/li>\n
    9. Replace the air box.<\/li>\n
    10. Replace the plastic covering on your engine.<\/li>\n
    11. Reconnect the hoses.<\/li>\n
    12. You are done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
