  4. Find the positive and negative terminals of your car battery.<\/li>\n
  5. Disconnect the negative terminal first.<\/li>\n
  6. Unclamp\/unscrew the old battery and remove it.<\/li>\n
  7. Make sure the clamps and the tray the battery rests on is clean before installing the new battery.<\/li>\n
  8. Connect the positive terminal, then the negative terminal.<\/li>\n
  9. Close the hood of your car.<\/li>\n
  10. You have now installed the new battery. Make sure everything is working, and be sure to get rid of the old battery correctly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
