2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Cab<\/h3>\n

The Sprinter 3500<\/a> is the largest version of the Sprinter sold for commercial use. It features a BLUETEC 4-cylinder engine and a 7-speed 7G-TRONIC transmission. We can’t imagine ever having to haul giant rocks in our line of work, but if we did, this would be the vehicle we would want to use.<\/p>\n

This particular Sprinter Extreme concept has a maximum towing capacity of 7,500 pounds. This is 2,500 more pounds than that of your standard Sprinter, and it does it with the base diesel engine. It also has a maximum payload capacity of 6,400 pounds. It is 20 feet long, over 95 inches tall, and comes with the choice of two wheelbase lengths<\/p>\n

That’s right, we said you can buy it, but you don’t get the one you see here at CAS 2016. What you get is actually just the foundation.
