It is difficult to say that the Mercedes-Benz GLS<\/a> is a brand new vehicle because it shares so many visual and mechanical cues with its predecessor, the GL-Class<\/a>. Technically, though, it is a new car for 2017, never before seen by the world we call Earth, and it is already the best large SUV that money can buy. The GLS450 is the entry level for the brand’s flagship SUV. Honestly, we would prefer the Mercedes-AMG GLS63, but we can’t argue with Car and Driver that the GLS450 is the best value. With the GLS450, neither the price, nor the gas pedal, will make you nauseous, which is much of the goal when you are a muppet.<\/p>\n

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 comes with a 3.0L V6 biturbo that puts out 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
