If you’ve never seen a C-Class Cabriolet<\/a> before, it’s because it doesn’t exist yet! The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will be the first of it’s kind when it lands at dealerships across the country this summer, and because of this, it is difficult to know what to expect. If it is anything like the E-Class Cabriolet of the past, we might be in for some trouble. Is the cabriolet worth the extra money? To find out, we put the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe<\/strong> head to head with the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet<\/strong>, and we were somewhat surprised by the results!<\/p>\n

Cabriolet<\/h3>\n

If you are unfamiliar with the term cabriolet, it is simply a fancy word Mercedes-Benz uses for convertible. Typically, when a car is transformed into a convertible, or cabriolet, it loses a lot of stability and handling characteristics that drivers love about coupes with hard tops. Surprisingly, this isn’t really the case with the new C-Class Cabriolet!<\/p>\n

Handling<\/h3>\n

When put up against every other convertible to come through our dealership, the C-Class is the most stable. Of course, it is a little more loose than the coupe variation, but thanks to 4MATIC all-wheel drive and intelligent traction control, it is virtually unnoticeable, regardless of whether you are driving the C300 or the AMG C63 S<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Price<\/h3>\n

Mercedes-Benz has not yet released any pricing numbers<\/a>, but it is safe to say that it will cost a few more thousand over the coupe, but at least \u00a0we don’t have to worry about performance! Expect to see a lot more C-Class Cabriolets floating around the country because this is going to be a hot commodity!
