The official beginning of summer is nearly here! The nation’s favorite way to kick off summer festivities is by celebrating 4th of July. Luckily, the Phoenix area has tons of family-friendly Independence Day celebrations to offer, including festivals and firework shows. Check out our suggestions for 4th of July fireworks in Phoenix, AZ for 2018.

Fabulous Phoenix 4th (Phoenix)

Enjoy one of the largest firework displays in the Southwest at the 33rd annual Fabulous Phoenix 4th. A free, non-alcoholic event, this family-friendly show attracts thousands of guests every year. For 2018, the event will feature two stages with live music from international recording artists, as well as several food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts, a classic car display, and interactive exhibits. Kids’ World will offer youth activities, a water spray zone, and rides and inflatables.

When: Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. | Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Where: Steele Indian School Park – 300 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ

4th of Zoo-ly (Phoenix)

Join the Phoenix Zoo for a 4th of “Zoo-ly” celebration! This family-friendly event will feature a classic summer BBQ and a special viewing of the Tempe Town Lake Fireworks Spectacular show in a “VIP” seating area at the back of the zoo. In addition to the food and fireworks, the celebration also offers fun activities for the kids, including special animal encounters and bounce houses. Purchase tickets on the zoo’s website.

When: Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. | Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

All-American Festival (Peoria)

Celebrate America’s Independence at Peoria’s annual All-American Festival! This family-friendly event offers an evening packed full of entertainment for all ages, as well as a spectacular firework show. From live music to food eating contests to a water zone, this festival has it all. General admission tickets are $10, but kids 12 and younger get in for free. Discounted tickets are available for $7 until June 29th. Ticket upgrades are available.

Where: Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. | Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.
