Okay, so maybe those are just the lyrics to the Beastie Boys’ song Intergalactic, and maybe the song did come out 17 years before Mercedes-Benz F 015 Concept Car. However, that would be hard to argue to someone who didn’t know that. As far as we can tell, the Beastie Boys wrote that song immediately after traveling to 2015 to ride in the Mercedes-Benz of the future. If you haven’t seen it yet, then you are living in another dimension.

It’s not a GLC or a GLE. It’s is a concept car. It is not meant to ever go into mass production, but it is paving the way for what personal transportation is to become. The Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion Concept Car can be driven manually or autonomously, and that versatility is not even the cool part.

The Beastie Boys strike again! To say the style is wild is right on the money. It looks more like a silver bullet than a car and the inside resembles every scene in The Jetsons.

From the family tree of old school hip hop,
Kick off your shoes and relax your socks.

The F 015 seats four people. Four giant people. The seats swivel to allow face-to-face interaction and sock relaxing time. To fill the void in between the seats, a magic table appears in the center, which will come in handy when stopping at an intergalactic drive-through. It has six interactive touch screens inside that create a 360 degree media arena, turning the ride experience into a video game.

The Mercedes-Benz F 015 Concept Car has been referred to as more of a traveling living space than a car. We think the Beastie Boys would agree, regardless of galactic location. There are many other futuristic features of this Mercedes-Benz space ship such as LED projection lights that communicate with pedestrians and other traffic.
