Mercedes-Benz is has done it again! Only this time, we aren’t sure if the German auto manufacturer has a vision of the future or an addiction to hallucinogenic drugs. This suspicion arose on account of the Mercedes-Benz concept cars being totally trippy. They are unlike anything ever seen before, and although we are 95% sure Mercedes-Benz isn’t using, you have to admit that Mercedes-Benz has been revealing some pretty wacky stuff lately. Awesome, but, wacky.

Mercedes-Benz Future Vehicles

It started out subtle with some SUV Coupe concepts. Then we were surprised to hear of a complete naming restructure. Then, before we could learn everyone’s names, the f 015 Luxury in Motion knocked on our front door, which, we still haven’t been able to conceptualize, but are working on it. Next comes the Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile, or IAA for short, transforming on the highway into a torpedo of some kind. Now, before the Tokyo Motor show, we catch a glimpse of the Vision Tokyo: Connected Lounge concept car or concept lounge or concept something. Whatever is going on at Mercedes-Benz, we’re glad that they abandoned the 21st century because these are the coolest vehicles we’ve ever seen. If you see Mercedes-Benz, let it know that Area 51 called and it wants its UFOs back. All jokes aside, could these concepts really be the future? Maybe, in the distant future. Although the technology involved with each vehicle is genius, we suspect that the designs of the recent Mercedes-Benz concept cars probably won’t catch on in the next 15 years or so as the company seems to suggest. For now, we’ll stick with the C-Class.
