The state of Arizona has three National Parks as well as a number of National Monuments. Check out a few of our favorites and how far they are away from Phoenix:

- Grand Canyon National Park: 229 miles (or 3.5 hours from Phoenix)
  - It’s hard to imagine anyone living in Arizona that hasn’t been to Grand Canyon, but if you haven’t been to the world wonder, you really need to check it out. It’s popular for a reason!

- Saguaro National Park: 110 miles (or about 2 hours from Phoenix)
  - Saguaro National Park is an inspiring and unique desert park with native cacti growing wild, as well as gorgeous mountain views and so much more.

- Petrified Forest National Park: 211 miles (or 3.5 hours from Phoenix)
  - For those searching for a fascinating adventure, the Petrified Forest National Park offers amazing trails, paleontology exhibits and more.

- Agua Fria National Monument: 20 miles (or 25 minutes from Phoenix)
  - The Agua Fria National Monument provides amazing wilderness for hikes, off-road adventures and more. There are over 40 miles of wildlife and various terrains.

- Casa Grande Ruins National Monument: 55 miles (or about an hour from Phoenix)
  - The Casa Grande Ruins features a number of ancient Pueblo structures from many eras.
